regular soc.sec or SSDI ???

I was just recently awarded 100% IHD Disabled & unemployable  and will be 62 in july i have no real info on which might be the best way for me to to go on this subject. Any Advice would be greatly...

VA and SSDI are totally separate, no problem on pay, I went on SS at 62 1/2 and at 65 just applied for SSDI, will see where it goes but other people have done it. Benefit is you get paid age 66 rates...

My answer was for the OP's situation. He is not yet 62. If he files for SSDI now and his awarded EDO date is prior to his drawing OA&SI, he will not be reduced.
